I was inspired by the story of how Jim Carrey used the power of his beliefs, focus, hard work and attraction to achieve the success he wanted. In one interview with Oprah in 1997, comedian actor Jim Carey shares about how he used the law of attraction and the law of action to manifest 10 million dollars, a few years after he set this as his goal.

Jim started his journey in the late 1980’s he was an unknown a struggling actor who wanted to become a successful well know Hollywood star. He started out with the goal in mind, and wrote himself a cheque for 10 million dollars for acting service and dated the cheque a few years in the future, thanksgiving 1995. In that time, he kept the cheque in his wallet at all times. Although he had nothing at the time and lived in a trailer, he had access lots self-help books at the library.  He would read about the power of visualisation and how to  beliefs in order to get rich.

Every day he would drive to Mulholland drive in Beverly Hills to practice visualisation and attracting abundance exercises. Here, he could experience a place that attracted successful people and see physical signs of success, such as luxury cars and expensive mansions. Here, he would visualise directors liking his work he would also visualise things that he wanted coming to him., Which reinforced my beliefs about how individuals can attract millions.  He knew what he wanted; and he got crystal clear on what he wanted to be. In addition to this he asked universe clearly for what he wanted, 10 million dollars  for acting services. He thought about it all day long, he engaged all his senses, visualisation thinking and feeling energy into the exercise.  He visualised until he felt certain that he would get it and then worked really hard to get it.

Every day he would drive to Mulholland drive in Beverly Hills to practice visualisation and attracting abundance exercises.

Then took whatever work he could get, action and worked really hard.

He would visualise until he felt better. When he drove home, he would say to himself you do have all these things they are just not yet here in the physical world.

Just before thanksgiving 1995 he found out that he was going to make 10 million dollars for his role in the movie Dumb and Dumber. The cheque was an end goal, but it should never replace daily action (visualizing until you feel it is real, and working hard toward your goal)

Jim Carey was not an overnight success. He told Oprah that he would often drive for hundreds of miles to do comedy for free just to make a name for himself. He worked very hard for many years and took action despite of no money to achieve his goals.  He also made himself valuable to the tune of 10 million dollars and appears in his life. He was committed to being an excellent and valuable actor.
